Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), located in Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the premier veterinary research institutions in India. Established in 1889 as the Imperial Bacteriological Laboratory in Pune, it was shifted to Mukteshwar in 1893 and then to Izatnagar in 1913.
