KLE Technological University, located in Hubli, Karnataka, was established in 1947 as B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology. In 2015, it was upgraded to a university status. The institution is part of the KLE Society, founded by seven dedicated teachers in 1916.
