University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences - [UAHS] - Bangalore

The University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences (UAHS), located in Shivamogga, Karnataka, was established in 2012 by the Government of Karnataka. It is the first integrated university in the state to offer both agricultural and horticultural education.

Accreditation and Affiliations: UAHS is recognized by the UGC and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is an autonomous state university.

Placements: The university provides placement assistance through its Directorate of Extension. Students find opportunities in agricultural departments, research institutions, agribusiness firms, NGOs, and can also pursue higher studies.
